Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum honours Islamic Personality of the Year
20th Dubai Quran Award.

The 20th Dubai International Holy Quran Award announced the top ten winners of its 20th session on Saturday.
The Dubai International Holy Quran Award was founded in December 1998 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, honoured the winning Quran reciters in a ceremony held at the Cultural and Scientific Association.
Saudi Arabia's Turki bin Muqrin bin Ahmed Alabdulmunim won the first place while the second place was shared by Dagestan's Bilal Abdulkhalikov and USA's Adeen Shahzad Rehman.
Sheikh Mohammed Ali Sultan Al Ulama was presented with the Islamic Personality of the Year, in recognition of his tireless effort in serving the Holy Quran and Muslims across the world through over 200 charity projects. He is a prolific author with about 70 books to his credit.
